Who we are

Follow The Phases is a brand authority agency founded by Tariq Peters. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about privacy at any time at hello@followthephases.co.uk.

What we collect and why

  • When you request a resource (the Beyond Referrals report, the Authority Gap Scorecard results or the Authority Flywheel™ Guide): your name, email address and, for the Scorecard, your answers and company website. We use these to send you what you asked for and, where you agreed, practical insights by email. On the report request form, requesting the report also signs you up to receive these insights, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • When you subscribe to the newsletter: your first name, email address and, if you choose to give it, your last name, used to send you our weekly newsletter every Wednesday and the occasional short note between editions.
  • When you book a call: the details you give in the booking form, used to prepare for and hold the call.
  • When you email us or use the contact form: your name, email address, company name and message, used to reply.
  • When you use this website: anonymous usage information through Google Analytics, used to understand which pages are useful.

Services we use

  • Hostinger, which hosts this website.
  • MailerLite, which stores subscriber details and sends our emails.
  • Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Apps Script), which records resource requests.
  • Calendly, which handles call bookings.
  • Formspree, which delivers messages sent through the contact form to us.
  • Google Analytics, which measures website use.

Each provider processes information on our behalf under its own terms and security measures.

Emails and unsubscribing

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to stop emailing you at any time by writing to hello@followthephases.co.uk.

Cookies and similar technology

  • Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to count visits and see how pages are used. Google signals and advertising personalisation are switched off. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google’s analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • The Authority Flywheel™ Guide sets one cookie (ftp_guide) after you sign up, so the full Guide opens for you on that device. It lasts up to 180 days. The Guide also saves your reading position and plan progress in your browser’s local storage.
  • Calendly may set its own cookies when the booking calendar loads.

How long we keep information

We keep your details while you remain subscribed or while we are in contact about working together, and delete them when they are no longer needed for those purposes.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy. Email hello@followthephases.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
